A podcast, beginning September 2026
Energy is real. The founders you already admire have organized their lives around it. Listen to them say so in their own words.
What this is
A show for people who already suspect it.
Most people dismiss energy as woo because they can’t perceive it. The founders you admire—the ones who seem to operate on a different clock, who make calls that look lucky until you’ve watched them make the same call ten times—have, many of them, organized their lives around something they learned on a cushion, or a mat, or a long walk, or thirty years of sitting through the thing their friends told them to quit.
This is a show where they talk about it plainly. Not as a wellness story. Not as a productivity hack. As the actual substrate of how they work. It’s for the operator who reads Wendell Berry on the weekend and sits zazen before standup and has never once said so on a pitch call.

The host
Dhruv Kar
Dhruv Kar runs businesses and has meditated daily since childhood. He started this show because the two halves of his life have a lot more to do with each other than either world admits, and because he could no longer find the conversation he wanted to listen to, so he is recording it instead.
Transcripts
Every episode, fully transcribed.
Some people read rather than listen. Some want to search a sentence six months later. Some are deaf or hard of hearing. Every conversation on this show will live here in full, with timestamps, the week the episode releases. The archive matters more than the release.
